All admissions to our school are managed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Admissions Team.
The links below will take you to their website where you will find more information.
The recommended maximum number of full time children (boys and girls) that can be accommodated in the school is 360. These are divided into twelve classes, four classes per year.
We try to ensure that there are no more than 30 in each class, unless we lose appeals.
We also have a Nursery where 104 children attend part-time; either morning or afternoon. (Attendance at nursery does not guarantee a place in main school).
From there you will need to complete an 'In-Year Common Application Form'.
30 Hour Funding
All 3 and 4 year old children are entitled to 15 hours free childcare per week but since September 2017 some children may be entitled to 30 hours free childcare which we can offer here at our nursery.
You can apply for 30 hours funding at the following website:-

Children are admitted to school in the September of the year in which they will reach their fifth birthday. This ensures all children have approximately three years in the Infant School.
We are aware of how enormous a step starting school is in a small child’s life and we will do our best to make the transition from home or nursery as smooth and as gentle as possible.
Children are admitted according to the LA set criteria as found in the booklet “Starting School”. Copies can be obtained in the school office or from the One Stop Shop on 020 8724 8710.
Before your child is admitted to school we need to see the child’s birth certificate and official proof of residency, eg. mortgage agreement/council tax or utility bill. We will also need the name and telephone number of someone who we can contact in an emergency. If your child is sick or has an accident we may need to contact you immediately. It is your responsibility to keep your details up to date.
Basic information is kept on the computer and can be viewed at a mutually convenient time as can other records kept on your child.

School Admission Appeals
You have a right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if we do not offer your child a place at the Barking and Dagenham schools on your application form which are listed as a higher preference than the one we offered you. Full information about our appeals process is listed in LBBD admission booklets.
